Reports suggest that the China and India variants of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series will be more unique than the original version.

Redmi Note series just celebrated its 8th Anniversary in India and it’s rumored that the manufacture is about to launch the Redmi Note 12.
However, no official information has been revealed about the Indian release date of the Redmi Note 12 yet.
There have been numerous rumors and leaks on the internet which suggest that the Redmi Note 12 will come out in the next few months.
Following tradition, it’s likely that this phone will come out in first half of 2023. We’ll need to wait a while to find out for sure when this phone will be released.
Xiaomi is offering two models for the Indian market called the Redmi Note 12 and Note 12 Pro with the latter being a lot superior to the former.
However, it’s been reported that China may have its own models in Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+.
There are three models in China — Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+, but this might not necessarily apply to India as they only could release one or two models of their own.
Even more confusing things though is that the Redmi 11 series has more than one model in China like – The Redmi 11 Pro+, Redmi 11 SE, Redmi 11 Pro, Redmi 11S and yet at this stage there isn’t any official confirmation on whether they’ll release these models or not in India.
Redmi Note 12 specifications
This new model from China has a design reminiscent of the iPhone 12 series, with a flat edge.
The 6.67-inch OLED display features a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, and a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
On the hardware front, this phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 and runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Some other specifications include – 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and a 48-megapixel camera coupled with 2-megapixel secondary camera.

The Smartphones come in four models: the 4GB/128GB model is roughly Rs 13,600, the 6GB/128GB model is roughly Rs 14,600, the 8GB/128GB model is roughly Rs 17,000, and the 8GB/256GB model is about Rs 19,300.
